Havelock Youth Soccer Association (HYSA) was established in 1982
to serve Havelock and Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point communities. We are a registered Association in good
standing with North Carolina Youth Soccer Association (NCYSA). In order to properly serve our communities,
we became a 501c organization in 1989.
Our mission is to give back to our community as volunteers
by teaching the fundamentals of Soccer, the benefits of teamwork, and the
importance of fair play through mentoring, training and coaching aspiring young
soccer players.
Our Recreational coaches have their Grassroots 4v4, 7v7, 9v9
and 11v11 license. Our Classic coaches either
have their Grassroots 9v9, 11v11 or D license.
Every summer we host the Haley Mills Memorial Netblasters Camp. Each year HYSA gives out one
Soccer Camp Scholarship and one College Scholarship from the proceeds raised at
the Haley Mills Memorial Netblasters Camp.
Our practice and game fields are located off HWY 101 on 1
Recreation Drive at the Havelock Recreation Center ran by the City of Havelock. HYSA is an organization solely operated by
volunteers. We are always looking for
new volunteers to serve on our board and help coach. We rely on community businesses and individual
sponsors to help us financially maintain HYSA.
